What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing, but an unauthorized occupant, Shehu Moore, attended. The Landlord requested a review of the previous order that dismissed the application.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $14,152.38 by May 27, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, the Tenant must vacate the unit by May 27, 2023 and pay the Landlord $15,234.25, which includes rent arrears and the application filing fee, minus the rent deposit and interest.
