What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit in order to convert the unit to a non-residential use.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before February 29, 2024. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord compensation of $33.22 per day for the use of the unit starting June 27, 2023 until the date the Tenant moves out.
