What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants failed to attend the hearing despite being properly served. Evidence showed the Tenants had accumulated significant arrears, paying only a small fraction of the balance after the application was filed. The Adjudicator found that the Tenants had not responded to repayment plan attempts and that granting relief from eviction would be unfair under the circumstances.

The ruling

The Tenants may void this eviction if they pay $14,186.00 by July 22, 2025. If they fail to pay or move out, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Sheriff on or after July 23, 2025.
