What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $6,936.44 by February 26, 2023 to void the order and continue the tenancy. If the Tenant does not pay this amount, the Tenant must move out by February 26, 2023 and pay the Landlord $5,563.27, plus daily compensation of $22.13 per day starting January 31, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
