What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to rent arrears. By the time of the hearing, the Tenant had paid all outstanding rent arrears, resulting in a small credit of $0.08 on the rent account. However, the Tenant had not yet reimbursed the Landlord for the application filing fee.
The ruling
The LTB ordered the Tenant to pay the Landlord the remaining $185.92 balance of the filing fee by October 21, 2025. Because the Tenant paid the rent arrears in full prior to the hearing, no termination of tenancy or eviction was ordered.
