What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay rent arrears and the current month's rent as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 14, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,860.70 plus $40.47 per day starting April 4, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 14, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
