What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants in order to convert the rental unit to non-residential use for an office space. The Landlord served the Tenants with an N13 notice on March 28, 2022 with a termination date of July 31, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2023. The Landlord is required to pay the Tenants one month's rent in compensation by September 10, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by October 31, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
