What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit on September 30, 2022, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,658.22, which includes rent arrears up to September 30, 2022 and the application filing costs. If the Tenant does not pay by April 7, 2023, they will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
