What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had paid all the rent arrears up to March 31, 2021, and only $148.14 of the filing fee remained outstanding at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The Landlord's application for eviction is denied on the condition that the Tenants shall pay the outstanding balance of $148.14 relating to the filing fee by April 30, 2021. If the monies are not paid on or before April 30, 2021, the monies owing shall bear an interest rate of 2.00% per annum.
