What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated on October 10, 2023 unless the tenants pay $10,447.74 by September 30, 2023 or $12,013.44 by October 10, 2023 to void the order. If the tenants do not make the required payment, they must vacate the unit by October 10, 2023 and pay the landlord $3,636.06, plus daily compensation of $51.48 from June 20, 2023 until the date they move out.
