What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and the Tenant's dog attacking the upstairs neighbor, which was deemed an illegal act and a serious impairment of safety.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 11, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,576.10 in rent arrears and application filing fees, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay daily compensation of $42.58 from April 25, 2023 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 11, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
