What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant and Occupant due to the commission of an illegal act involving possession of illegal drugs for the purposes of trafficking in the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by May 16, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,473.06 for use of the unit from January 18, 2021 to May 11, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest, and $29.59 per day from May 12, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Tenant must also pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 16, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to expedite the eviction.
