What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit in order to demolish the unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction, and the Tenant shall pay $27.85 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 1, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
