What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing, but did not attend or send a representative.
The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $37.28, which includes the rent arrears owed up to February 28, 2023 and the cost of the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 13, 2023, they will start accruing interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
