What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $19,646.61 to void the order by June 12, 2023. If the Tenant does not void the order, the Tenant must pay $10,883.76 to the Landlord and vacate the unit by June 12, 2023. The Tenant will also owe daily compensation of $63.55 from March 15, 2023 until the move-out date.
