What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Landlord's request for eviction is denied on the condition that the Tenant pays the rent for November 2021 to January 2022 on time and in full. If the Tenant fails to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
