What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenant did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $5,326 by February 28, 2023 or $6,276 by March 6, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $3,838.56 and vacate the unit by March 6, 2023. The Tenant will also owe daily compensation of $31.23 from February 15, 2023 until they vacate.
