What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Unauthorized Occupant, who was the former wife of the deceased Tenant. The Landlord discovered the Unauthorized Occupant had moved into the rental unit after the Tenant's death.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated effective April 10, 2020. The Unauthorized Occupant must move out of the rental unit by August 10, 2021 and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Unauthorized Occupant does not vacate or pay the fee by the due date, the Landlord can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
