What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy between the Tenant because the unit was given to the Tenant for the term of the Tenant's employment as a superintendent which has now ended. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Superintendent remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of April 26, 2021, the date the Tenant's employment as superintendent ended. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord the $186.00 filing fee and $37.81 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from May 4, 2021 to the date the Tenant moved out on June 28, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 1, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
