The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 16, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $7,466.20, which includes rent arrears up to June 30, 2021 and compensation for use of the unit starting July 1, 2021, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 16, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 17, 2021.
