What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent arrears as required by a previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 9, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,860.61 in rent arrears and costs, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant does not vacate by September 9, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant will also owe the Landlord $59.72 per day in compensation from August 23, 2023 until the Tenant vacates.
