Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord intends to convert the rental unit or the residential complex to a non-residential use.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of August 31, 2020. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before August 31, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting September 1, 2020.
