What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay $4,686.00 towards arrears by December 31, 2022, and failed to pay January 2023 rent on time.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2023. The Tenant must pay $6,064.71 to the Landlord, plus $47.01 per day from March 21, 2023 until move-out. If not vacated by March 31, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2023.
