What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 23, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $17,149.88, which includes rent arrears up to June 12, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenants must also pay $55.04 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting June 13, 2023 until they move out.
