What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants for non-payment of rent, and also claimed NSF charges. The Tenants were served an N4 notice but did not void it. The Tenants were absent from the videoconference hearing. The hearing proceeded based solely on the Landlord's evidence.
The ruling
The LTB issued a conditional order terminating the tenancy. The Tenants can avoid eviction by paying $6,640.32 by April 22, 2025. If they fail to pay, the tenancy is terminated, they must vacate by that date, and must pay the Landlord $3,930.91 plus daily compensation of $34.38 from March 14, 2025. The Landlord's claim for NSF fees was dismissed.
