The ruling
The tenancy was terminated effective August 31, 2020, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay $5,138.30 to the Landlord, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date, NSF cheque charges, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay $186 for the application filing fee.
