What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord confirmed at the hearing that they are not seeking an eviction at this time and only asked for a standard pay on time order for 24 months.

The ruling

The Tenant must pay the rent on time on the first day of each corresponding month for the next 12 months starting February 1, 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant fails to comply with this order, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
