What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order (TNL-32425-21) issued on January 7, 2022. The Tenant failed to pay the full monthly rent on or before February 1, 2022, as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 1, 2022. The Tenant must pay $2,033.24 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to February 18, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $34.79 per day from February 19, 2022, until vacating the unit. If the Tenant does not vacate by March 1, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
