What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, serious impairment of the safety of any person, and wilful or negligent undue damage to the premises.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $523.43 for the undue damage and $190 for the application filing fee, for a total of $713.43. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by August 15, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting August 16, 2020. If the unit is not vacated by August 15, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
