What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $21,186 by March 31, 2023 or $22,686 by April 8, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $15,949 and vacate the unit by April 8, 2023. The Tenant will owe daily compensation of $49.32 for any continued occupancy after January 17, 2023.
