What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants had been persistently late in paying their rent.

The ruling

The Tenants are granted relief from eviction, subject to the condition that they pay the monthly rent on or before the 1st day of each month for a period of 12 consecutive months (August 2021 to July 2022). If the Tenants fail to make the payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants are also ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
