What happened

The Landlord applied to evict the Tenants due to rent arrears. Before the hearing was concluded, the Tenants paid all outstanding rent up to the end of September 2025. Consequently, the member determined that eviction was no longer appropriate and granted relief from eviction. The Tenants remain responsible for the Landlord's application filing fee.

The ruling

The application for eviction is denied as the Tenants have paid all rent arrears. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $186.00 for the filing fee by September 30, 2025. If the payment is not made by the deadline, interest will accrue at a rate of 4.00% per annum.
