What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as specified in a previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions of the previous order to pay rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,344.09 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $46.14 per day in compensation for use of the unit from January 20, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 30, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
