What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N8 Notice of Termination, and the Tenant did not dispute the evidence of late rent payments.

The ruling

The Adjudicator granted relief from eviction provided the Tenant pay the rent on time for a period of 12 months, and allowed the Tenant until June 2021 to organize her finances to ensure rent can be paid to the Landlord on or before the first day of each month. The Landlord can file for eviction if the Tenant misses any of the payments set out in the order.
