What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants did not pay the full rent for the period from September 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on December 31, 2021, and were in possession of the unit on the date the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,343.09 in rent arrears and $201 for the application filing fee. If the full amount is not paid by November 12, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
