What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay full rent for January 2023 and did not make the required $500 payment towards arrears by January 1, 2023.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2023. Tenants must pay $5,801.30 plus $26.66 per day from March 21, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If not vacated by March 31, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2023.
