What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective October 22, 2021. Tenants failed to pay rent from August 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022 and did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 15, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $8,989.00 by that date. Tenants must pay Landlord $6,731.48 plus $50.14 per day starting February 5, 2022, until they move out. If full payment is not made by February 15, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
