What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenant causing undue damage to the premises, playing loud music, having loud guests, performing unauthorized electrical work, removing smoke detectors, working on stolen E-bikes in common areas, and blocking fire exits. Landlord also sought compensation for damages.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 14, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date and pay $186.00 for the application filing cost. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $16.44 per day from February 15, 2022, until they move out. If the Tenant doesn't vacate by February 14, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting February 15, 2022.
