What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $2,016.00 in arrears and costs as per the repayment plan outlined in the order. The Tenants shall also pay the lawful monthly rent as it comes due in full and no later than the first day of each month commencing July 2021 through to November 2021. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing and the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
