What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants had accumulated substantial arrears. During the hearing, Tenant 2 raised issues regarding electrical maintenance and vital services, claiming frequent power outages. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 25, 2025. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $14,058.56 for rent arrears and the application fee. Additionally, the Tenants must pay daily compensation of $82.19 from March 25, 2025, until they vacate. To void the eviction and continue the tenancy, the Tenants must pay $24,586.00 by July 25, 2025.
