What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenants' substantial interference with reasonable enjoyment, wilful or negligent damage to premises, and failure to pay utility costs. Landlord also claimed compensation for unpaid utilities.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 14, 2022. Tenants must pay $1,142.47 to the Landlord for unpaid utility costs and application fee. If not paid by October 14, 2022, interest will accrue at 2% annually from October 15, 2022. Eviction may be enforced by the Sheriff from October 15, 2022 if the unit is not vacated.
