What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Occupant because the Tenant transferred the tenancy to the Occupant without the Landlord's consent.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of May 2, 2021. The Occupant shall move out of the rental unit on or before May 2, 2021 and pay the Landlord $13,497.53 for compensation for the use of the unit from December 26, 2019 to April 21, 2021, as well as $27.95 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from April 22, 2021 to the date they move out. If the Occupant does not pay the full amount by May 2, 2021, they will owe interest at a rate of 2.00% on the outstanding balance.
