Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective September 23, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless Tenants void the order by paying the full amount owing. Tenants must pay $17,574.07 plus $69.04 per day starting February 1, 2022. To void the eviction and continue the tenancy, Tenants must pay $21,201.00 by January 31, 2022, or $23,301.00 by February 11, 2022. Tenants must also pay rent on time for 12 consecutive months starting March 2022.
