What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant failed to pay rent from June 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective July 23, 2021. The Tenant did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 18, 2022. The Tenant must pay $5,207.99 plus $22.68 per day starting January 8, 2022, to the Landlord. If the Tenant does not vacate by January 18, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement. The Tenant can void the eviction order by paying $5,706.00 on or before January 18, 2022.
