What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent that the Tenants owe. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on July 28, 2022, prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,809.96, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application, minus the rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 19, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
