What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants due to persistent late payment of rent.
The ruling
The landlord and tenant agreed to a conditional order where the tenancy will continue if the tenant pays the rent in full by the 1st of each month from March 2024 to February 2025. If the tenant breaches the conditions, the landlord may apply for termination without notice to the tenant. The tenant must also pay the $186 application fee by April 30, 2024, and will owe 7% annual interest on any outstanding balance after that date.
