What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant wilfully causing undue damage to the premises, committing an illegal act, and seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 4, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,567.16 for use of the unit from September 13, 2020 to December 30, 2020, less the rent deposit, and $32.88 per day from December 31, 2020 until the Tenant vacates. The Tenant must also pay the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 4, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
