What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay the outstanding rent arrears of $919.76 and the application fee of $175 by November 20, 2020. The Tenant is also ordered to pay future rent on the 1st of each month from December 2020 to November 2021. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply under section 78 for termination and eviction.
