What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant informed the hearing that he had spoken to the site manager about rent relief during COVID-19, but had no evidence of this discussion.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $87.50 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
