What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to an NSF cheque.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $23,122.02, which represents the amount of rent owing up to October 31, 2020, minus the rent deposit and interest owing on the rent deposit. The Tenant shall also pay to the Landlord $20.00, which represents the total charges related to NSF cheques tendered to the Landlord by or on behalf of the Tenant, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the Landlord the full amount owing on or before April 3, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest.
